Floristic shows
Dolnolskie Centrum Hurtu Rolno-Spoywczego S.A. organizes international and thematic floristic shows during which exhibitors promote the flower sale, present new species and kinds of cut flowers or pot plants, as well as present the latest trends in floristry. Shows are run by highly-regarded florists from Poland and abroad. On 10th October Dolnolskie Centrum Hurtu Rolno-Spoywczego S.A. in Wrocaw hosted the International Floristic Show and invited professional florists – Nicky Markslag of Holland and Zygmunt Sieradzan of Poland. The show was mainly dedicated to funeral, wedding and occasional flower arrangements. The first part of the show was dedicated to flower arrangements for coffins and urns. The wedding part was dedicated to flower arrangements presented by models and also car flower decorations. For Wrocaw residents on 8th October at the Wrocaw Market Square there was held the mini funeral floristic show broadcast live by TVP Wrocaw in the “Wrocaw si” programme. We began the year 2010 with the floristic show organized together with Orchid s.c. The show was held on 17th January and was run by florist Jaap Wisse of Holland. The show was mainly dedicated to wedding and first communion, spring and Easter flower arrangements, but visitors could also admire car flower decorations. The last event in 2009 was the “Christmas Newlyweds” International Floristic Show held on 15th November 2009. There were presented Christmas flower arrangements with elements of the wedding. Visitors could admire flower arrangements made by Marcin Jaboski and Johan Huisman. The show was organized by DCHR-S S.A., Holland Flower Office and Victus-Emak - distributor of CHRYSAL products. On 11th January 2009 (Sunday) at the headquarters of DCHR-S S.A. (flower hall) there was held the international floristic show during which florist Jaas Wisse of Holland showed his floristic skills. The show was mainly dedicated to spring flower arrangements, wedding bouquets, car flower decorations and St. Valentine’s bouquets. The show was organized by Orchid, the flower importer (shareholder of DCHR-S S.A.), and DCHR-S S.A. The show was run by Anna Macuyska, the director of the Holland Flower Office. Over 350 people participated in the show. Shows are run by well-known Polish and foreign masters of floristics. The last show "What a Wedding... took place in June 2006, and it dealt with wedding ceremonies decorations. The show was run by - Mariola Miklaszewska representing DCHR-S S.A. and Petra van der Veen of Holland, representing Flower Council of Holland.
